I think it comes down to preference more than anything else but I tend to find I need to use my tutors to recover from bad situations rather than to get ahead and as such the card disadvantage is much more crippling

Plus, decks that synergize with allies will appreciate the extra reinforcements this card provides

It is a great offensive tool and if we manage to get additional combat phases by hitting with it more players, it can even be a game finisher

Barge In Only buffing attacking creatures removes most of the flexibility from Barge In, but the potentially team-wide trample steals games, especially if you cast this after blockers
