I was getting in more 1v1 commander games so it's a bit more geared towards dueling, as opposed to brawling in a multiplayer setting, but I made efforts to try to reduce how much mana I had to invest into Jenara to ramp up her damage

These effects are so commonly featured in Cube that its clear that there is an audience for them, but with how deep the well of powerful blue cards is and with how impactful these effects can often be, Im a big advocate of not featuring them
