When I look at Twitter, I occasionally see people saying, "I want to use XX as a commander, but I don't know how to build a deck / it's difficult." Whenever I see that, I always think, "There's no such thing as failure, and if you don't fear anything and just get 99 cards other than the commander, you'll have a deck." I always lay out cards and build decks by combining them with armchair theories, delusions, and wishful thinking
