MTG Final Fantasy mechanics A lot of returning mechanics Job select is a fun nod to an FF staple Brings back Sagas, Adventures, and more Because it's such a massive set, MTG Final Fantasy brings a lot of gameplay changes along for the ride
If you're on the play, your best playline following Pluto on turn one would be to play Kit Cloudkicker on turn two , allowing you to bounce your opponent's turn one card back to their hand, giving your two characters on the board while your opponent has none
While that doesnt make it a beefy character by any means, it does eliminate it from being taken out by really, really low level threats
You wont always need a board wipe, so you can always cast it for one of the cheaper modes if theres a problem that needs to be dealt with, but I definitely dont mind destroying all tapped creatures for six mana at instant speed
