Herniated Disc Simulator Hand and Wrist An ideal model and chartThe Herniated Disc Simulator model by Erler Zimmer, is an interactive, twice life size model of two lumbar vertebra with a disc hernia which puts pressure on the spinal nerve as the vertebrae are compressed. The model demonstrates a lateral intervertebral disc hernia. The model operates so that when the two vertebrae are pressed together, the inner core of the disc protrudes to the outside therefore forming a hernia. The protruding hernia show the
