To create this unique shade of brown porcelain I dyed the clay by wedging (a specialized kneading technique) a pigment called Mason Stain into the porcelain until thoroughly incorporated prior to throwing the mug form on the wheel and hand sculpting the facial features and limbs with more of the same brown clay

Then slowly pour hot water over the leaves until the mug is full

This three piece set includes a cratered Moon mug with gold eyes lined with a sparkling glaze inside and around the lip of the mug

Raincloud Man Mug butt To create this unique shadeThis rainy man is blowing up a storm. His expressive face brings the entire effect together. The raindrops dangling from sculpted clouds jingle most pleasantly when he moves. Additional sculpted raindrops are touched with glaze to make them look wet. 9oz volume. DO NOT MICROWAVE. Hand wash recommended.
