素材：セルロイド

通常使われるアセテート素材のメガネでは、金属の芯をテンプルに刺して強度を出します。しかしセルロイドは固いため、芯を使わず十分な強度を出すことが可能です。金属の芯を補強に使わない“ノー芯”製法は、セルロイド本来の美しさを金属の邪魔なく堪能できるのが魅力。特に濃淡のある色味のセルロイドはテンプルの部分が透けて見えるのが美しいです。佐々木セルロイドの社内デザイナーが綿密に設計し、職人が手で丁寧に加工することで芯を使わずとも強度を出すことを実現しました。
