The lota is being used less frequently, and the craft of making such utilitarian vessels is dying. We look at reviving the craft and the legacy, by re envisioning and scaling up the lota as a piece of furniture. The stand's base is a hand hammered lota handcrafted by Thathera craftspeople. The table top and the knobs are crafted from reclaimed teak
