Vineyard: The grapes used to produce this Riesling mostly originate from Groebe's Aulerde vineyard in Westhofen. The soil there is rich in loess loam, and has a clayey layer with even gravelly sand underground, providing excellent drainage. A very small proportion of the grapes come from their Kirchspiel vineyard, which is also in Westhofen. The
